Ash Dieback in Woodlands
We have ash dieback in some of the trees in our woodlands. These trees are monitored and in some cases felled, and you will see that we have been felling trees in the ornamental wood and along our well-used woodland paths. Not all affected ash trees will be felled: wherever it’s safe to do so, we’ll be leaving both standing and fallen deadwood so that wildlife can benefit. We would like all members to be aware of this, keep to the paths and as usual supervise their children when walking and playing in the woods.
