Club open daily from 8am until late

Please see our full House Rules and Club Rules for the rules by which members and their guests must conduct themselves while visiting St Julians.

St Julians is open daily throughout the year, except Christmas Day. Club opening hours vary seasonally.  You will find below our most up to date information.

Type of membership

The Club consists of a bar and restaurant with several comfortable rooms and outdoor spaces for drinking, dining and relaxing, swimming pools (April to October), tennis courts, play areas, gardens and a woodland walk. The Club is open for breakfast, lunch and evening meals throughout the year and has beautiful spaces available to hire for parties.

Full & Country membership covers the use of all Club facilities.

Social membership is for the use of the drinking and dining facilities of the Club, play areas and gardens (excluding the fenced pool area).

Social members are not entitled to use the swimming pools and tennis courts.

Arriving at St Julians

Please enter through the welcome area at the front of the house where you will be greeted and signed in at the welcome desk.

Guests must also be signed in here on arrival.

Speak to the welcome desk to arrange a table for drinking or dining and make general enquiries.

For Full & Country members, this is also where you book the tennis courts, sign in to gain access to the swimming pools (April to October), and organise payment for guests for swimming (April to October) and tennis.

Members are asked to stay with and carefully supervise their children whilst visiting St Julians.

Restaurant and Bar

St Julians is open every day and evening for for drinking and dining.

You can book a table in advance by telephone, or you can organise a table when you arrive at the Club. Sunday lunch is particularly busy.

The swimming pools are unsupervised, and we do not have lifeguards. Our swimming pool rules apply.

Children must be accompanied by an adult member when in the fenced pool area and must be supervised at the poolside when swimming.

We have an outdoor shower and changing cubicles for members use. Please do not leave your belongings in the cubicles while you swim.

The ice cream kiosk is open on sunny days.

Gardens & play areas

The gardens and children’s play areas including the sandpit, swings & playground are open to all members during Club opening hours.

As the fenced pool area is ‘out of bounds’ to Social members, the play areas by the pools are only available to Full/Country members.

All our inside tables and outside bar lawn and terrace benches are available to those drinking and dining from the Club, but you are very welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the further grounds.

We have a football area, badminton and table tennis for member’s use. You can borrow racquets, bats and balls at the welcome desk.

We have a lovely 2km woodland trail for all members to enjoy. Look out for wildflowers, birds and lots of different trees in our woodland.

The Club has a strict ‘no dogs’ policy which also applies to our meadows and woodland.

Please can parents accompany their children at all times when in the gardens and play areas.

Guests

All adult members may entertain guests at the Club.

All guests must be signed in by their accompanying adult member upon arrival at the Club, who must remain with them for the duration of their visit.

Social guests

For each membership household up to six guests are permitted per day visiting the Club socially.

There is no charge to bring guests to the Club to eat and drink and you do not need to tell us in advance that you are doing so, however you may like to book a table to avoid disappointment.

Please note that social guests are not permitted to enter the fenced swimming pool area or tennis courts.

Swimming & tennis guests

Full and Country members may invite guests to join them poolside, swim and play tennis. For each membership household up to four guests are permitted per day to visit the Club for this.

The fee is £10 per guest for guests to join you in the fenced pool area and/or on the tennis court (‘Guest Ticket’). The fee applies to all guests age 3+.

If you are bringing guests to the Club and will be swimming or entering the pool area you are required to buy Guest Tickets for every guest so that they may accompany you to the pool area even if they are not swimming.  This is because all of your guests must remain with you for the duration of the visit including when you are within the fenced swimming pool area, and guest children must be adequately supervised by their parent(s) at the poolside.

Please organise this either in advance or at the welcome desk when you arrive. Please note that Guest Tickets may be limited on the busiest days at the discretion of the Club.

Please note that you are required to pay for guests in the fenced pool area or on the tennis courts even if they are not swimming or playing.

Non-member guests may visit the Club up to four times in any year, with the view that they would be interested in joining in their own right after this number of visits.

Nannies

If you have a nanny and you would like them to bring your children to the Club, the nanny also needs to be a member of the Club.

We make a special arrangement for a named nanny to be included on a family membership. There is a fee for this. Click on the link below for more information.
